Cernusco Sul Naviglio – La Vecchia Filanda

The winning project of the public tender announced by the Municipality of Cernusco sul Naviglio, the renewal of a former silk factory into an up-to-date multipurpose environment was developed in collaboration with Arch. Giovanna Masciandri and Lorenzo Coltellini. Our goal was the restoration of its original structure and its park, aiming at creating collective areas. The interiors – designed to highlight the perception of depth and openness – completely transformed the pre-existing layout, while the exterior was restored to its original condition by removing any previous modifications.
